Safe Network Week of Development (WOD)

Three times every year, Safe Network sets aside a week dedicated to the development of the Safe Network team.

Last week was a fantastic WOD for the team. We spent two days on Creative Therapies in Practice; learning how to incorporate art into therapeutic interventions with clients.

We also had an insightful one-day session with team from Tautoko Mai. This session introduced us to the topic of 'Understanding Sexual Violence in Aotearoa', covering its definition, prevalence, consent, relevant laws and legislation, and how to seek help and support others.

Our WOD weeks are a great opportunity for our clinicians to add more skills to their kete, and to bring everyone together to connect, learn and laugh together!
